So what worldview are most people here from? I looked at a few "lists" of worldviews, and this one seemed the best (I found it in a book about worldviews). It divided the worldviews down into ten sections: theology, philosophy, ethics, biology, psychology, sociology, law, politics, economics, and history. These simply noted the general tendencies. For instance, Marxism-Leninism had the following
Theology: Atheism
Philosophy: Dilectical Materialism
Ethics: Proletariat Morality
Biology: Punctuated Evolution
Psychology: Monism (Behaviorism)
Sociology: Classless Society
Law: Proletariat Law
Politics: Statism
Economics: Communism
History: Historical Materialism
This is more strict than say cosmic humanism, but still very general.

I will get around to it. I disagree with some of it, some is biased (for instance, under politics for Judeo-Christian worldview it has "Justice, Freedom, Order." That says absolutely nothing. Under secular humanism, it has "liberalism.") It is biased towords christianity, but the only really wacked up section is the politics section. With the exception to that section, it tries to identify the most common view, talks about that, and then talks about some less common views. As soon as I am not as tired as sin, I will post them.

What's meant by 'religions such as Hinduism' and why is Hinduism stuck in there with 'new age'? And why aren't Judaism, Christianity and Islam classified together? There's no major difference between their worldviews.

Exactly what I was going to say - Judeo-Christian is a recent political (propaganda) term invented by neo-Cons/Evangelist extremists to align their ideology with that of Israel and to isolate Islam from its sister religions and justify to their followers the need for its destruction. |

My preference would be to classify them each separately -- although there are many similarities, I believe that there are enough ideological differences that pertain to the way in which each religious group relates to the world to justify doing this. That failing, we must place Islam in the Judeo-Christian category, and rename the category "Abrahamic" (another silly term, but one that is a bit more accurate).
