I've been hearing that there hasn't been much work on the magazine, The centerpiece of All Empires?

What is going on?

That was a while ago when they were very short and didn't take so long to make.

I just checked, the article count is up to nine.

Personally I hope for an April fools day release date.

and 3 monthly from then on.

I'd like a bimonthly but I am too lazy to write the things I need. I need the heat to come down on me so that I'd have to plan the time more carefully (not going to happen actually, good dreams only).

I think Kevin might be referring to the project to get the magazine published and actually distributed as a hard copy.

I was referring to the online edition as it had seemed kind of quiet as of recently. However we have to get cracking on a hard copy again.

I continue to work in it in my free time Kevin (the hard copy), but with exams approaching, free time is ever diminishing Unhappy I haven't forgotten about it though.

Ditto - I'm back on here as has been evident for the past few days and as is obviously evident now, but I'm finding it really hard to find much time for the magazine in particular - I really want to do well for college so I'm finding myself reading my two set Greek tragedies every week as well as the tempest, bits of Plato book VII and source material on Henry VII. I would take it that most of the other young 'uns on this forum have that same problem :)

La Caixa sponsored a recent street exhibition of Igor Mitoraj's sculptures in Madrid (it's been done in Valencia and Barcelona, already, though) in order to coincide with the opening of El Centro La Caixa (now the fourth museum of the 'big art museums' in Madrid - El Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia being the first three).  I've been trying to write something on Igor Mitoraj, with the crux being about the exhibition in Madrid and the new museum, but there's not much information available on Igor Mitoraj online and I still have to photograph the museum (accidently deleted the photographs I already took).

Since I read that All Empires doesn't want to be a 'military history' magazine, this is effectively my way of inching away from writing articles that are war related. Confused

Catalan - feel free to do military history articles. There are plenty of other non-military related articles being written for the magazine too, so all long as there exists a nice diversity of topics and areas of history, everyone will be content. Smile Of course, if you wish to do articles other than military history, that is perfectly cool too.
