Hey, this Russian-Georgian conflict led to even more pro-American attitude in Europe. Before that the missile defense shield deal in Poland was as good as frozen. So Americans only gained overall from that conflict.

oh boy globalresearch.ca a heavily anti war/anti US site. I spent a few hours awhile back reading through their articles. The U.S. could be planting roses in Poland and it would be a lead up to war with those fear mongers. Apparently the enterprise is a nuclear battleship  which they got straight from strafor another winner at fear mongering and missinformation. According to them we should of been nuking the planet every year for the last 10 years. |

While the missile defense shield does inch a little bit to having a war. It is no way as close as war than say Able archer. If WW3 will happen its going to take a lot more events to spark it. Plus for it truly have to be a world war Iran would have to attack Israel, China attack Taiwan, and a possible invasion of South Korea by North Korea and China.
