The Germans also take vacations in Paris; especially during the periods they call "blitzkrieg".

Khatun: means women or lady I beleive. Khanum is what we use in Pakistan.

In Turkish it now means lady or woman but the original meaning was wife of a khan.

But only Hatun also means the wife of a khan.  And I think Hanim is used more for lady.

Why no one mentioned "Hanish", it was commonly used for the wife of the Han.

Earlier one is "Hatun".

Now in mordern Uyghur Tukish:

Hotun (Ayal) -- Wife
Hanim --- Lady
Hanish --- Queen

Either make a history or become a history.

It seems, I guess, in turkish there  is suffix m or um for female gender, if added at the end of a male tittle changes it to female tittle like Khan and Khanum. I have another example: Baig a male tittle and Baigum wife of a Baig. M or um shows possession in Turkish i think.
