From my moderator part ,i warn you for your behaviour. If this discussion goes out of hand ,then i will have to act.

From the purely historical part, the Patriarch of Constantinople was ,in fact, against the Hellenic Revolution in it's first stages. And concerning the term "traitor", whoever is a traitor is debatable and on the eye of the beholder. For Hellens/Greeks these men are not traitors ,because they helped in the struggle against the Ottomans.

Well I'll just have to join in on this nationalist frenzy ...

The Canadian Corps just prior to the assault on Vimy Ridge, where the rolling barrage and infiltration tactics were perfected:

Canadians at Ortona, the "Italian Stalingrad" aka "Courtyard of Hell", where mouseholing was first developed:

Canadians at Dieppe, first (ill-fated) assault on Fortress Europe. The German soldiers referred to these men as "devils" because no matter how many they killed they seemed to keep coming (actually, the British commanders, safely offshore and well out of sight of the coast, just kept foolishly sending in battalion after battalion). These are some that managed to make it home.
