City of beautiful mosques is just Isfahan, from last 1400 years in each century, a wonderful mosque has been built in Isfahan.

This one is for this century:

The project which has won several architectural awards, was started about 20 years ago and will hopefully completed some years later, this huge mosque will have 10 large domes ranging in size from 40 to 100 meters in diameter and 20 minarets from 60 to 150 meters high (these minarets will be used as galleries, museums, liberaries, ...)

These pics are from two years ago:

This is the Notre Dame de Montreal church interior

These are 2 of about 50 churches which are part of monasteries in Moldova, Romania. They were built in the 15th century and are painted on the outside.

I like each buildings for its individual qualities, I think it is wrong to compare unless comparing architectural style. They are all beautiful. I have been in many such buildings and each of them gave me a completely different and unique feeling.

Selimiye Mosque-Edirne(Builted between 1568-74)

70.8 meter minarets. An interesting thing about minarets. Three person can climb three serefe(minaret balcony) at the same time to use three different stairs and the persons never see or come across each others .

A huge dome. Nearly whole area covered with dome.
