Ahmadinejad himself seems to just love Islam, but there are some influential persons behind him who hate both Arabs and Jews and I really doubt them to be Islam lovers, the interesting thing for me is that most of them have blue eyes and blonde hair, one of them that you probably know him is Ali Larijani, the chairman of the Iranian parliament: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Larijani and his brother, read it: Anti-Semitism on the Berlin, another one who is very active on issue is Mohammad-Ali Ramin, who is called Iran's 'Angel of Death':

Mohammad-Ali Ramin, Presidential Advisor

On December 14, 2006 the Iranian news agency IRNA reported, in English, that participants in the Iranian Holocaust Denial Conference, dubbed "Holocaust: A Global Vision," had announced the establishment of a "world foundation for Holocaust studies" and unanimously appointed Presidential Advisor Mohammad-Ali Ramin as its secretary-general.
According to IRNA, Ramin said that "one of the plans of the foundation is to assign a committee to find out the truth about the holocaust [sic], and noted that its main office will be in Tehran, and that it "will eventually be transferred to Berlin, once proper grounds are prepared."

Like Hitler's Goebbels, Mohammad-Ali Ramin, also known as the 'Angel of Death' is someone to watch carefully. Inexplicably, wikipedia describes him as a 'human rights activist.' He is the founder of the above-mentioned recent hate-fest in Iran and the head of Nuclei of Sacrificers for Velayat. A few searches on the web produced little information on this 'club' of his, but it does not sound good, whatever it is.

This is an individual who while on a visit to Gilan University, said to a group of students in the town of Rasht: 'We Iranians are definitely not, and never have been, nationalistic, and we are not against any ethnic [group]. We certainly do not worship race, nor [are we] against any race, and we nave never perpetrated genocide. This is why Islam, which appeared and advanced [the notion of] equality among nations and among peoples, greatly appealed to us Iranians. We have accepted the [principle] of equality among nations since the days of the Achaemenids. [2] Antisemitism, therefore, has no place in our Iranian [culture]. I myself honestly fight for just treatment of Judaism. Ten years ago, [when] I first brought up the issue of the Holocaust in this country, my intention was to defend the Jews…

then of course, predictably in Nazi fashion went on to say:
'But among the Jews there have always been those who killed God’s prophets and who opposed justice and righteousness. Throughout history, this religious group has inflicted the most damage on the human race, while some groups within it engaged in plotting against other nations and ethnic groups to cause cruelty, malice and wickedness. Historically, there are many accusations against the Jews. For example, it was said that they were the source for such deadly diseases as the plague and typhus. This is because the Jews are very filthy people. For a time people also said that they poisoned water wells belonging to Christians and thus killed them.'

there might be more of a pre-existing hatred towards the country isreal more than the actual hatred of any person who observes the Jewish faith. I beleive president ahmadinejad has more anger towards the political views and alliance with it's staunch ally the U.S. Such people as supreme leader ayatollah khameinei may have more of a religious and ancient historical type of negativity towards Isreal. With the fact, that this issue between the Islam faith and the Jewish faith is ancient as time itself, it's hard to see if it's political or religious hatred that fuels people like ahmadinejad. he has came out with stark warnings towards Isreal, wether he will act is another issue. It's a good question to ask... why is there tension between the Jewish and Muslim people. especially when some people that are key figures in their culture, cross over like abraham, issac, ezekiel. i think that the brittish mandate of palestine, the devolpement of the country Isreal and the ongoing wars between Isreal and palestine, gaza, lebanon, syria, they all fuel anger in the muslim world. The muslim world then reacts in a terrible way. will their ever be peace? who knows!
