Help Requested with Descriptions for the Main Site

Hey guys,

I'd like to know if any of you could think of better descriptions to the Main Site categories of Pre-Columbian America and 20th Century.

If anyone can help, then it would be nice.

Here are the current ones:

Pre-Columbian America wrote: Although most of Per-Columbian North America north of modern Mexico did not see the formation of large states, Latin America was the home of some very notable empires.
