(this is an old post from hannibal)

Hello Korean friends:

I am a Chinese in mainland China, also, an ancient history fans. Im so interested
in your country so I read chinese chosun.com everyday. Recently, news about
GaoGuoLi controversy߾ۣbecome the main concern of mine. Obviously,
I find Korean people are very angry about Chinas viewpoint toward GaoGouLi,
but as a Han() Chinese, I have to say that whether GaoGouli was the
history of Korea still need more study.

The history of GaoGouLi is very complicated, all information were stored in
old Chinese historical books, so I believe common people in Korea are not
clear about it for they can not read historical books written in Chinese
at all.

If Korean historians only told Korean people their own viewpoints but ignore
what Chinese people are thinking, thats must be a big tragedy. In the same
way, Chinese people need know more about your viewpoint. I read attacks
and condemns of Korean journalists in articles of chinese chosun.com
almost everyday, but can not find even a single intact thesis written by
Korean historian to support those articles.

I used to believe Korean people are different from those Japaneses. But the attacks
and condemns in your newspapar ends my dream. I saw a self - center Korea.
If you can not agree with Chinese viewpoint toward GaoGouLi, just discussing,
why so many attacks and condemns. Can you force us to accept your viewpoint? No,never.

So,please, I advise you translate your historians papers into Chinese in
a particular website, so that Chinese people can know whats evidences you
have and whats your experts in history are thinking. Also, you can find
many papers written by Chinese historians about GaoGouLi from internet,
please translate them into Korean language.I believe Korean peoples
reactions will be very valuable after they have read those Chinese
historical papers.

Just remember that only when you do that, you can have the chance to
persuade Chinese people to believe your viewpoint in history. And only after
you have persuaded Chinese people, the GaoGouLi history can be yours.

name
from HuBei Province of China

all i have to say is, stop being such a baby and get yourself together, like i posted before, the terracotta army is not from some country from africa, its CHINESE1!
i understand you trying to "peace out the situation" but u guys are just making a whole bunch of bull up. nowadys people are getting a really bad reputation of china... i can go on for hours y but im telling you, its not only becuz of this incident, and its not only korea...

now, listen to this "i always had a dream of chinses ppl being fair and just.... they have such an immense and famous history.. but your recent bull sh*t has ended my dreams... EAT THAT

p.s. its Koguryo or goguri or not GaoGouLi!!!!

Quote p.s. its Koguryo or goguri or not GaoGouLi!!!!

There is a recent discovery that (koguryo) is pronounced as (koguri) according to Korean text.

The Japanese changed the pronounciation during their colonization on Korea.

I think the dead mice are some sort of Ethnic people in China... like Miao, Tibetan, Mongol, etc.

PRC propaganda is just plain digusting - they claim that Koguryo is Chinese - I even saw another claiming Genghis Khan is a "Chinese" hero!

What kind of historical revisionism is going on here? Nationalism of a tiny threatened nation is understandable, but a massive nation still relying on nationalism leaning on historical revisionism is shameful.

hey, look what i found on the web...i don't know hoo rote it, but i give him/her credit, cuz it isn't mine but i find it interesting.

Argument 1: Koguryo(Goguri) is Korean
1. If Goguri is Chinese, then the history of Pekjae is Chinese as well, because the founder of Pekjae is the son of Goguri (just as China is claiming Old Choson to be theirs because according to them, Chinese people went there and build it and therefore it is chinese). But, ironically, the Chinese is not claiming Pekjae as theirs. It implies another hidden reasoning behind this claim. They want secured ownership of Manchuria. AND GANDO, WHICH MUST BE KOREAN. They are running out of reasons and thus is claiming Goguri as theirs in hopes of changing the claim to their favor.
2. If Goguri is Chinese (because it was founded by Chinese, old Choson which Goguri descends is also found by Chinese), then Jin must be Korean. Here are excerpts from , the history book of Jin (a Chinese webiste with the original excerpts (check the second paragraph): http://www.zs2002.com/book/jins/001.htm :

The founder of Jin is Hambo(Agolta)
ΣҴ׿
He was 60 years old when he came out of Kori(Koryo) for the first time
֣ͯ׺
His brother Agohobol did not follow him and stayed in Kori
---what is that telling?
---------if he came out of Kori for the first time when he founded Jin Dynasty...
----------------------and if Kori was decendant of Shilla, a Korean country,
--------------------------------Wouldn't not Jin be Korean according to Chinese..?
(btw, the decendants of May Teja, the last king of Shilla, claims that Agolta is one of his son. The Son of Shilla Ruled Jin and therefore Jin is Korean according to Chinese! )
3. If Goguri is Chinese because its creator was from China and old Choson which Goguri follows also started with Chinese according to Chinese, in addition to all these "influences" and Korea "not having a culture", then Qing is Korean.
The last name of Nurhaci, the creator of Qing dynastly(), had the last name of (Aishin Joure)
It means:"love and never forget Shilla"
Aishin means gold(), but used Chinese letters to aid pronounciation
Jirio means bond/affinity/relationship()
Relationship with gold...but what is that gold?
It all ends up in either Jin Dynasty or the last name of Shilla Kings, Kyongju Kim()
