Hai Suren..  I will try my very best.. so here u go some of malay food..

Malay Food...

Rendang.. (chicken, beaf or mutton)

How to make? refer to recipe thread .. Wink

Fish Curry...

As Malays or generally can say Malaysian people consume a lot of seafood.. so..
we do have our own curry recipe for fishes.. it's nice.. believe me..

Laksam & Laksa....

These two are almost the same.. Laksam is originally from East Coast Malaysia..
While Laksa Penang.. of course from Penang..
Bth are using fish for its gravy..  but for Laksam.. additional ingredient is coconut milk..
between these two.. my fav will be Laksa Penang.. yummy!!

Spanish cooking is delicious!

Tortilla Española (Tortilla de patatas)

Made with chopped potatoes, eggs and salt, with the option of adding veggies and ham. It's a national treasure of Spain, and delicious.

Cocido

Cocido is a meal typical of Madrid - which involves tossing everything in the kitchen into a pot and letting it simmer - or at least that's how they describe it Wink

Jamón Serrano/Ibérico

This is a delicious wild cured ham that is regulated by the Spanish government. This is the ham that the Queen of England covets. The best of this ham is from Gijuela, where the pigs are free range and dine mainly on figs. Legs of the jamón ibérico can cost upwards of 200 Euros.

Paella

Paella is a dish typical of Valencia that has spread throughout the Spain, with each region adding it's own local ingredients and flare. Typical Paella is rice, saffron, veggies, and some form of protein, be it seafood, rabbit or chicken.

Yum yum yum!

Cocido is very similar to Dizi (Abgousht) a traditional Iranian meal. Iranians smash and mix the ingredients then serve it with bread +Yogurt+ onion and fresh vegetables.

Suren- It is so close to lunch on the west coast- this is toture!!

I love all cusine but especially; Mexican, Greek, Italian, Chinese and now Turkish.
I miss the pasty shops in Istanbul and the bakalava, Athens also.

I cannot say a whole lot about English cusine- one word- bland!!!
Scottish and Irish also. I only found one resturant in England I liked near the Sherwood forest, "Maids of Merriem." EXCELLENT!!
I stopped in an Italian resturant in Milan, Italy and the resturant had all the pasta dishes on display- makes me hungry thinking about it
Well then, brothers and fellow citizens and soldiers, remember this in order that your memorial, your fame and freedom will be eternal.
