This year in absence of Mila (former Bosnian forum member) I post it.
What was your favorite song?

I like Turkey and Armenia songs.

Why? Is it related to Irish song being in the bottom of the list?Smile

I don't hate eurovision, I just don't care. I watch it mostly for the female singers.
This year I liked the spanish singer (beautiful face).

I also found the azeri singer quite perky and cute. Turkish singer was so and so.
The norwegian song deserved to win. I stood out of all that eurovision crap.

LOL
I decided to award two prizes, one for the song and one for the girl.

The best song was Estonia, and the best girl ended up in a tie between Azerbaijan and Iceland.

The Germans weren't even Germans! Both main performers were Americans. Is this the US's attempt to subvert the system and get into Europe? (And if it is why did they enter such a crap song?)

Still miss the British commentator Terry Wogan. He turned the whole thing into a lovely comedy show with a bit of song and dance in between!

Gr...

Terry Wogan is Irish believe it or not. Born and bred in Limerick City, the murder capital of Ireland. Wouldn't know it by either his accent or partiality for the Queen though Angry

I liked the Norwegian winning song, but also the song from Bosnia:

and from Estonia:

This year Belgium's delegation was from the francophone side, and they sent a French singer. As expected, Belgium (again) did not make it to the finals.

Hadise, who lives in Belgium and became famous with the Flemish version of "Idols", participated for Turkey so many people here ended up seeing her as "our representative" in the finals, but I do not like her song.

I always enjoy watching the points being distributed. It is often so easy to predict...LOL
