Current Affairs. AE has a “Current Affairs Forum” as sub-forum of the "Intellectual Forum", where all threads that discuss topical events can and must be posted. The “Current Affairs Forum” is only accessible for members with more than 100 posts. The motive behind this is to emphasize history over politics as the main purpose of this forum. We felt that in many ways, history-related discussions have been gradually giving way in favor of politics, nationalistic topics, and race-related discussions and as a history forum we hope to reverse that trend. Please do not place Current Affairs topics in any other forum, and especially not in the “Intellectual Forum.”
