8000 Members

   Recently we passed 8000 members and I think it's worth mentioning.

We could have had even more members, as the community was wiped off the map in 2004 by a previous server, but soon a new community emerged on a different server. 
I know 8000 sounds like a lot, and some would claim that we actually have very few active members. We see the same usernames again and again and might get the idea of max 50 or 60 different active members - but lets try to put it in perspective by some numbers from the database.

Since 4'th of August 2004, 8000 members have been here at least once.
 The last year, 1825 unique members have been here at least once.
 The last month, 450 unique members have been here at least once.
 The last week, 225 unique members have been here at least once.
 Finally today, 92 unique members have been here at least once.
Impressive numbers for an online forum - we might be the largest and most active international community, based on history.
